LOU BENBOW
Founder / Manager
With over 30 years of coaching experience, Lou founded LB3 StrikeZone in 2021, aiming to develop versatile athletes with strong fundamentals. His focus is on ensuring every player gets ample playing time, batting the full lineup and rotating through positions to foster growth.
Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 1991, Lou played in their system until 1994 before joining the New York Mets, where he advanced through Single-A and Double-A. In 1995, he was traded to the Atlanta Braves, playing in Triple-A and Double-A until 1997. He continued his career in the Atlantic League in 1998 and the Texas-Louisiana League in 1999.
Lou’s extensive professional experience now guides his coaching, emphasizing development over rings and nurturing each player’s potential.

LAURA BENBOW
Team Administrator
Laura is the backbone of the team, serving as the StrikeZone’s administrator. She expertly manages communication, schedules, uniforms, fan gear, team finances, and fundraising efforts. When there’s a problem or a complaint, Laura LOVEs to be the go-to person everyone turns to. 🙂 Her dedication keeps the team running smoothly and ensures that everything is in place for a successful season.
TIM ROBERTSON
Media Manager
Tim has worked for nearly two decades in either marketing or high-end graphics – and now has 16 years of experience in media and television. He currently oversees the StrikeZone website, our in-game music, the kids’ walkup songs, our YouTube channel, our videos, graphics, banners, and more. Tim’s goal: create engaging and visually appealing content that enhances the overall experience for the kids!
